Went to Ace for a Father's Day sale 6/11/17 picked out a few sale items. One item I wanted, an air compressor was out of stock due to the sale (this took 15 minutes to figure out). I asked to order it and I would have it picked up, which took another 10 minutes to figure out. Finally we have everything rung up but the anount doesn't look right. Cashier assures me everything is correct, but after looking at the receipt she doesn't ring up my shop vac. After spending almost 30 minutes at the check out counter, I decide to save them the trouble of having me as customer and return everything. I explained the situation the the Manager on duty, Jerry. Jerry says "what do you want me to do about it?" And "sorry you feel that way". Meanwhile they couldn't figure out how to process my return and had to mix cash and a return on my credit card. The unhelpful staff at Ace should be reminded of what their motto is.
From what I could tell in my brief visit, it seems to be an decent hardware store with a pretty good selection of items. At least I found what I needed and was in and out in 10 minutes.
Love the Manager, Steve. He is one top notch guy! We shop there because we get great customer service and friendly knowledgeable employees.
Great customer service. Great selection of popular items. They are a Stihl dealer and are very knowledgeable. I went for a part for my trimmer and they were able to find the exact part i needed.
Ace really is the helpful place. Great customer service. I'm giving them 4 stars because, in my circle of friends, Ace is known as the expensive place. We go here if we want to skip going over the bridge, knowing that the convenience will cost us.
